Céad Míle Fáilte go C.L.G. Baile Uí Dhuibh Contáe Portlairge
Nestled in the foothills of the Knockmealdown Mountains in picturesque Blackwater Valley, the village of Ballyduff has been home to Ballyduff Upper GAA Club since it's foundation in 1886.Our club has a long and proud tradition in Waterford GAA history. The first major title for the club was won in 1924 when the footballers won the Senior County championship. Prior to this two Junior football titles had been won in 1915 and 1917. Ballyduff was one of the few clubs playing hurling in the county at that time and although it was not until the 1980s that a first Senior Hurling County title was won the club had appeared in two senior hurling finals in the early 1900s in 1905 and again in 1912.
Over the years many individuals and families have built upon these foundations, to develop and nurture the games of hurling and football and indeed the great pride and spirit which is synonymous of the Ballyduff club and its community today.
Our website is designed to bring you up to date information on our club, its activities, our teams, fixtures, results, sponsors and a selection of photo.
Go raibh míle mhaith agat.
We hope all our members had an enjoyable Christmas break, and are ready for the 2012 season.
